Clarinet: Rob Shaw
Rob graduated from Birmingham Conservatoire with a First Class Honours degree and many diplomas and prizes.  He has freelanced with many orchestras including CBSO, English Symphony Orchestra and Manchester Camerata.  He also works extensively in theatre productions as a woodwind Tripler and for the Royal Shakespeare Company.  Rob has worked on large and small-scale workshops and projects for Sir Yehudi Menuhin’s ‘Live Music Now!’ and The Council for Music in Hospitals and has given many recitals as a founder member of the Maskarade Clarinet Quartet and the clarinet duo Carousel.  Rob has held many teaching positions including Head of Woodwind at Shrewsbury School and is an examiner for the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music.
